Cancellation Policy
It is recommended that all guests take out cancellation insurance. We require a deposit to cover the first night's accommodation, payable either by cheque or Visa. Deposits are not normally refunded.

When a booking is made by a guest in writing or over the telephone a legally binding contract is entered into with the Proprietor.

If a guest cancels a booking before the end a the booked period then (s)he is in breach of contract and the Proprietor is entitled to damages.

This applies whether or not the Proprietor has made any provision for the cancellation or curtailment in any booking conditions.

In order to be entitled to make a claim for damages, the Proprietor must first make every reasonable effort to minimise the loss by trying to re-let the accommodation.
