Imagine, after a blissful nights sleep on what many of our guests describe ‘as the most comfortable beds they have ever slept on’ you come down to a fresh cooked to order English Breakfast with local free range eggs sausages hand made by our local butcher and delicious thick bacon. Image also fresh bread (brown and white), baked daily on the premises and tasty homemade jams and marmalade to spread onto the delicious bread.  Finally imagine a range of tasty healthy yogurts to accompany your breakfast, also made on the premises .Well imagine no more, if this is what you are looking for you need to book into the Glendower!

It’s not just our fantastic breakfasts that keep our customers returning. Our rooms, which are constantly being refurbished and upgraded, are large and well equipped. Each has a 19” flat screen TV, personal security box, free wifi, complimentary tea/coffee and of course, fully en-suite.  All our beds are of an extremely high standard with deep luxurious mattress each covered with a thick quilted topper for that extra bit of comfort. Our guests are constantly commenting on the quality of the beds and how well they sleep.

Our location is another reason we get so many returning guests. We have a privileged location on a quiet tree lined road only a short walk from Torquay seafront. Many of our guests park the car for the duration of their stay and either walk into the harbour through Torre Abbey Gardens and along the seafront or use the bus that passes our front door. We are the ideal location for both holiday and business guests.

Breakfast
Start the day with a full english breakfast. We provide and extensive choice of locally produced products where available. These include local sausages, bacon,eggs, milk, butter. We also make our own delicious yoghurt and bread.

To drink, we have fresh percolated coffee, himalayan green tea, fruit teas and fruit juices. We also offer a healthy option of soya milk and fruit.

We provide breakfast at anytime of day, including early morning for
guest travelling on business.

The Rooms
All bedrooms are ensuite with remote controlled colour TV, alarm clock radio, beverage making facilities and their own personal security boxes. All rooms have full central heating which is under personal control of the guest. Many of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor.

The Bar
Guests are welcome to have a relaxing drink at our bar where a selection of wines, spirits and beers are available. You will find it a very relaxing place to sit down and enjoy a refreshing drink with friends.

The Patio
Available for the use of guests, our patio enjoys sun throughout the day and is perfect for a spot of quiet sunbathing or to enjoy a relaxing drink.

Business Guests
We are ideally situated with only a 2 minute walk to the Riviera Centre. We also provide free wifi access throughout the building. We also offer an early breakfast option for conference delegates and business guests.
