About The Glendower
Your Hosts at the Glendower Bed and Breakfast
We are Ian & Janette and have been looking after the Glendower since June 2020. We decided it was time for a change and gave up our commute and our full time jobs and moved from Epsom in Surrey to Torbay. We really enjoy looking after our guests and it is now our business to make sure you get as much out of your stay in Torquay and the beautiful English Riviera as we have.. We can recommend and book restaurants, order taxis and offer a wealth of information on where to go and what to see both in Torquay and also in the surrounding area.

The Rooms
All bedrooms are en-suite with remote controlled smart colour TV, alarm clock radio, beverage making facilities All rooms have full central heating which is under the personal control of the guest. Many of the bedrooms are situated on the ground floor.
The Patio
Available for the use of guests, our patio enjoys sun throughout the day during summer months and is perfect for a spot of quiet sunbathing or to enjoy a relaxing drink.
Business Guests
We are ideally situated with only a 2 minute walk to the Riviera Centre. We provide free wi-fi access throughout the building. We also offer an early breakfast option for conference delegates and business guests.The English Riviera

Torquay is a place to relax, to soak up the atmosphere, to take in the scenery, the parks and the gardens and to enjoy the experience of a holiday in a classical English seaside resort, at all times of the year. Torquay’s waterfront is the focus of life in the town. Here you’ll find the palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. There is an abundance of pavement cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightlife, good quality shops and a host of attractions to suit every interest.
